Please review these terms before using Venturi

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Venturi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Venturi is a cost management and record-keeping platform for aircraft owners, co-ownership groups, and private pilots. The App allows you to:

  • Split costs, hours, and contributions between co-owners
  • Track flights, fuel, maintenance, inspections, and squawks
  • Analyze the true cost of every flight and aircraft
  • Forecast future expenses, reserves, and overhauls
  • Export records and financial summaries to CSV or PDF

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Venturi is a financial and record-keeping companion. It is not a substitute for professional aircraft maintenance, certified inspections, FAA compliance, or legal and financial advice. You are solely responsible for the airworthiness of your aircraft and the accuracy of all official records.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes related to aircraft operation and management
  • Maintain accurate, complete entries
  • Verify every figure and record produced by the App
  • Comply with all FAA regulations and aviation recordkeeping requirements
  • Maintain official logbooks as required by law, in parallel with Venturi
  • Not rely solely on the App for regulatory or financial compliance

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information or calculation
  • That the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors
  • That defects will be corrected on any specific timeline

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VENTURI AVIATION AND ITS PRINCIPALS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Damages arising from use or inability to use the App
  • Loss, corruption, or unauthorized access of data
  • Aircraft damage, personal injury, or death
  • Regulatory violations or non-compliance
  • Disputes between co-owners or partners
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Use of the App is at your own risk.

6. FAA Compliance

Venturi is not an FAA-approved electronic logbook system. The App supplements but does not replace your official maintenance and flight logbooks. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining official logbooks as required by 14 CFR Part 91
  • Ensuring all maintenance is performed and documented per FAA standards
  • Independently verifying every figure the App produces
  • Meeting all recordkeeping requirements that apply to your operation

7. Data, Backups, and Security

We protect your data with top-of-the-line security and audited infrastructure. Even so, you are responsible for:

  • Exporting and retaining your own copies of important records on a regular cadence
  • Maintaining secondary records of mission-critical information
  • Protecting your account credentials and devices

We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or inability to recover data, regardless of cause.

8. FAA Registry Lookup

The App may query the public FAA Aircraft Registry to retrieve aircraft details. This information is provided by the FAA and we make no guarantee of its accuracy. Verify all aircraft details independently.

9. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time
  • Update these Terms with appropriate notice
  • Change pricing, plans, or access levels

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Subscriptions and Billing

Venturi offers an optional paid subscription ("Premium"). The following terms apply when you purchase Premium through this website.

  • What Premium includes. Premium is required to add your own aircraft and to post in the community forum. A free account may join aircraft you are invited to and use the features available on those aircraft.
  • Pricing. Premium is offered at $40 per month or $400 per year, or the price shown at checkout at the time you subscribe. Applicable taxes may apply.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe's terms.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal linked from the Premium page. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Premium access continues through the end of the current paid period, after which your account returns to the free tier.
  • Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@venturimx.co.
  • Price changes. We may change subscription pricing or plan features. We will provide notice of material changes, and any change to a recurring price applies to billing periods after the notice.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, design, features, and functionality, is owned by Venturi Aviation and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device or closing your account. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, for any reason permitted by law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which you reside, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Venturi Aviation regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
